The Gophers, who were picked last in the Big Ten, held a narrow 19-16 lead over UNO before hitting a 16-3 run, and they never looked back. The lead grew to 18 at halftime and continued to grow throughout the second half.
Jordan Johnson, UNO's top gun, was neutralized by the Gophers, failing to connect on a three-point shot and only hitting 6-for-20 overall. Khaleb Wilson-Rouse, coming off of his best weekend as a Privateer, led the team with 19 points.
