Henry led New Orleans with 18 points, and Vincent posted a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds as UNO led big early and was never threatened by a team that defeated them eight days earlier in Houston. HCU, which scored 101 against the Privateers last week in an overtime victory, mustered just 59 in the rematch on 33% shooting.
Jordan Johnson also had a nice night for the Privateers (5-9, 2-1) with 17 points and five made three-pointers. K'mani Doughty contributed 15 points off the bench, with three from beyond the arc as well.
New Orleans will take to the road next week with contests at Incarnate Word and defending SLC tournament champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
