Offense Shines in Rout of UIW

G Derek St. Hilaire
The Privateers (2-9, 1-2) worked out some frustration on visiting Incarnate Word, ending a six-game losing streak with a resounding 86-64 margin at Lakefront Arena on Saturday.

New Orleans got contributions from several players, especially Derek St. Hilaire's monster 17-point first half.  At one point, St. Hilaire had 15 points, and UIW 14.

After riding his performance to a 40-25 halftime lead, others stepped up to bring it home.  St. Hilaire finished with 21 points, but Troy Green and Damion Rosser added 18 each.  The Privateers shot a blistering 65% as a team.

UNO gets a week off before returning to the Lakefront Arena court for a contest against McNeese next Saturday.
