Up eight at the half, New Orleans (7-17, 3-11) gradually lost their lead throughout the second frame. But they fought back, going back ahead 61-60 on a Bryson Robinson three and then 63-60 on two Troy Green free throws. What followed was a late, game-clinching 10-0 run by UCA to put the game on ice for the hosts.
The guard tandem of Green and Robinson not only led UNO in points -- 19 and 16 respectively -- but rebounds as well, with Green grabbing 8 and Robinson 7.
The Privateers finally return home on Saturday for a rematch with Incarnate Word, who defeated UNO 73-70 in San Antonio earlier this season.
