Bryson Robinson had another 17 for UNO |
The Bucs and the Demons traded leads several times, and with 7:23 left, the visitors took a 53-52 lead. By the final media timeout, though, New Orleans had gone ahead 64-53. The Demons had an answer, cutting the lead back down to 64-62 with under a minute left before a critical Gerrale Gates three-point play stopped the run.
Bryson Robinson continued his hot shooting, draining another five threes en route to a 17-point night. Zeke Charles still struggled with his shot but also managed 17, and Damion Rosser had 13.
UNO will stay home and take on Incarnate Word on Saturday afternoon after the women's game. They just beat the Cardinals 61-52 last Saturday in San Antonio.
