Yet Another Close Loss

The Privateers (5-10, 1-3) dropped another close game Saturday night at Lakefront Arena, falling to Houston Baptist 73-69. New Orleans saw another late lead slip away, as they held a late 63-60 lead before going cold.

HBU was led by Anthony Odunsi's game-high 28 points. UNO was led by Christavious Gill with 15 points, 11 of which came down the stretch in the losing effort.

UNO will try to avoid a winless three-game homestand on Monday night as they take on Southland Conference power Stephen F. Austin.
