UNO Knocks Off Loyola, 4-1

The Privateers (11-26) took a break from the Division I grind on Wednesday night, knocking off NAIA Loyola 4-1 at Maestri Field to end a six-game losing streak. Brian Dixon had three hits for New Orleans, and Mitchell Cohen pitched four scoreless, hitless innings in relief to notch the win.

UNO will return to Southland action for a split weekend series against Nicholls, heading to Thibodaux on Friday and Sunday and hosting the Colonels on Saturday afternoon.
